Mowery used private routes and elevators to ensure a safe and quiet renovation for patients during this healthcare construction project.

Prior to the East Campus facility project, Mowery was contracted to do various projects and renovations to Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. Renovations included door replacements, floor refinishing, conversion of the 4th floor and University Physicians Center renovations and others. Multiple lounges, labs, lobbies and offices on multiple floors were also renovated.

Mowery’s project manager and project superintendent acquired certifications and training from ASHE (American Society for Healthcare Engineering) and ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) to properly and successfully complete these healthcare construction projects. Mowery followed ICRA special requirements that ensure a safe and clean construction site. Milton S. Hershey mapped out specific private routes and elevators for Mowery to utilize to distribute materials to the correct rooms/floors without disrupting patients and staff. Mowery’s top priority during this project was the safety of everyone in the hospital including patients, visitors, staff and our crew.
