The Koch 33 Toyota Dealership and Collision Center were completed concurrently as Turn-Key, Design-Build projects by Mowery. Mowery worked with the Koch family and the Toyota brand to design and build a LEED Certified, state-of-the-art, Award Winning Dealership and Service Center (Toyota Award of Distinction). The dealership was awarded Merit Award through ABC Keystone – Excellence in Construction and Commercial Project of the Year Award through the Forever Green Building Council.
The Toyota Dealership is 56,765 square feet, consisting of a structural steel frame with a split face CMU shell consisting of 9,000 square feet of showroom, 20,000 square feet of state-of-the-art service area and 24,000 square feet comprised of a parts room, training center, waiting lounge, and a Starbucks coffee bar. The design was a structural steel frame with a CMU ground face and split face finish with an ACM panel façade and entrance portal. The Collision Center is 36,400 square feet and of similar construction to the Toyota Dealership consisting of 5,000 square feet of office and waiting area, 4,148 square feet of photo and storage area, 15,352 square feet of body shop, and 15,352 square feet of paint, prep, and assembly area. The collision center included a new paint booth and high volume exhaust to maintain air quality for the workers.
