Mowery was selected by Harristown Development Corporation as general contractor for the largest historic rehabilitation residential project in downtown Harrisburg in recent years. The 80,000 square foot space included 74 new residential rental units, Alicia’s Deli and retail space. Challenges arose based on the urban location, building occupation – including keeping the deli open, maintaining historic features and asbestos removal.
