At the John Stewart Memorial Library rededication, 2016 class president Katelyn Wingerd wisely shared that “libraries are the heart of a college campus – places not only for studying and research, but more and more today, also places for social gatherings, relaxation and student services.”
Mowery worked through all four seasons and in just 12 months, the renovations to the Wilson college library as well as a new addition were complete. The library building beautifully maintains the campus’ rich heritage of historic buildings while integrating new contemporary-styled features and focal points. New writing labs, computer lounge, outdoor plaza, art gallery and more were added to the renovated library space creating a campus hub for learning and socializing.
