Renovation of central Pennsylvania trucking terminal enables SAIA to drive customer success.

With 166 terminals, SAIA LTL Freight completes over 26,000+ daily shipments throughout 42 states. SAIA partnered with Mowery to renovate their new Carlisle, PA, trucking terminal that would replace its previous Mount Joy, PA location.

Located on 40 acres, the 60,000+ sqare foot terminal office provides much needed additional space. The new terminal features 136 dock doors, dock office, and main office. Previously, the building had not been updated for decades, which required Mowery to incorporate brand new electrical, plumbing and other systems. Mowery added the exterior ADA accessible entrance ramp and completed a total renovation to the interior of the building.

In a press release, Executive Vice President of Operations Paul Peck stated, “The additional capacity this new facility offers will enable us to meet ongoing customer demand in this growing market. We are continuously investing in our infrastructure as we work to provide our shippers with best-in-class service.”
