Bill Manna’s construction career started thirty-six years ago. Over the course of almost four decades, he’s amassed hands-on and practical experience across a variety of specialty areas including residential, commercial, public works and communications. In his role as senior estimator and senior project manager, Bill appreciates the opportunity to use his considerable experience to steer the outcome of a project at the earliest stages of preconstruction.

“I enjoy working with our clients and providing them with the best project at a price that meets their budget expectations,” says Bill. “At Mowery, we stress honesty and integrity. Customer service is an important part of what we do – and I believe it sets us apart.”

Bill’s dedication to excellence and lifelong learning has not gone unnoticed. His rapport with clients is so good that many request he remain involved with their project even after preconstruction has completed. “Bill’s dedication to our customers and team shows,” says David Cross, president of Mowery. “He is constantly raising the bar for our clients and our team members. We’re lucky to have him as a part of the team.”

Noting how technically advanced the construction industry has become, Bill believes in the importance of hands-on experience and craftsmanship to successfully build projects from the ground up. This attention to detail and dedication led him to be honored with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Service Award twice – in 1991 and 1992 – for his work as a project engineer.

Outside of the office, Bill enjoys woodworking, weight lifting and volunteering in his local community. He has worked with Habitat for Humanity and the United Way’s Day of Caring.

FUN FACT: Bill loves Christmas so much, he’s even been a Salvation Army bell ringer!
