by Employee Spotlight |
| March 25, 2019 |Bill Sanders joined Mowery two years ago as a Project Engineer and is excited about the growth of the construction industry and new technology being used every day.
Before taking on his official role, Bill interned for two years to gain experience and has continually expanded his expertise. He is a LEED Green Associate and certified in OSHA’s 10-hour construction training. Bill uses that specific knowledge to be part of a team and says he is excited about the work.
“We really strive to make every job we are a part of something special,” Bill says, “We put passion into each project.”
Bill earned a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering Degree from The Pennsylvania State University, with a focus on construction management. He’s not only committed to the excellent project work at Mowery, but he also enjoys giving back to his community, volunteering for the Salvation Army and the United Way. He brings that community spirit to his team every day.
“I enjoy the people I work with and I’m excited about how fast we are growing,” Bill says.
“Bill embodies the enthusiasm we have for the work we get to do,” says David Cross, president of Mowery. “He embodies our ‘build it as if it’s our own’ foundation and focuses on bringing the client’s dream to life. Bill is one of many amazing team members who each help us do that!”
In his free time, Bill can be found outdoors hiking, grilling and hitting up local breweries for a tour and a taste. He loves college football and if he could go anywhere in the world, he would be at Beaver Stadium.
Quick fact: The song he has memorized in its entirety is “Cliffs of Dover” by Eric Clapton – a purely instrumental song. He’s a champion hummer.
