by Employee Spotlight |
| September 26, 2018 |Having started his career over 30 years ago as a carpentry apprentice, John Bobb has fostered skills and experience in a variety of industries including commercial, environmental, educational and industrial. In his role as project superintendent, it’s the diversity of the jobs that is just one of the reasons John is excited to come to work at Mowery every day after nearly 20 years of service.
“I take great pride in Mowery’s firm belief that we do that right thing when it comes to our clients,” says John. “Plus, Mowery has always had a diverse portfolio of work, which provides employees plenty of opportunities to learn and grow as our industry, which is fast-paced and can be challenging, continues to evolve.”
“John’s experience in the industry– and at Mowery specifically – is such an asset to any project on which he works. His dedication to not only the project and client but also our team is unmatched,” says David Cross, president of Mowery. “He lives our foundations and we are fortunate to have John on our team.”
Outside the office, John is a dedicated, competitive mountain biker having competed in more than 150 mountain bike races. In fact, he’s so passionate about the sport that he has coached junior cycling teams and appreciates the wonderful impact on young people who participate in the program. He hopes to visit the Pyrenees someday because of the iconic bike races in the region.
Fun Fact:
Next time you see John, ask him to sing “Cowboys and Hippies” by Cody Jinks. He has the entire song memorized!
