At Mowery, our services strengthen communities and non-profit organizations, which is something we take great pride in. When the Carlisle Family YMCA contacted our team for help renovating their current facility to better meet the needs of their members and community, we were up for the challenge.
Our team completed this design-build construction project in two phases. Phase one included a 19,000 SF, two-story addition to the west side of the existing building as well as the demolition of two racquetball courts. Phase two included demolition of the former Franklin School building, a 13,000 SF addition to the north side of the existing building, and renovations to the facility’s locker rooms.
We addressed the Carlisle Family YMCA’s needs by providing the organization with more space for children’s programming, fitness classes, and meeting rooms as well as additional parking. Through enhanced collaboration with all parties, Mowery delivered approximately $110,000 in cost savings.
