This maintenance facility was built to service road equipment and vehicles as well as provide an extensive office area. The office side of the building includes a large break room, conference room, 11 private offices, two areas for multiple work cubes, conference/meeting room and reception area. Twelve 15′ 8″ garage doors surround the maintenance side of the building providing ample access for servicing vehicles. A storage mezzanine and mechanical room are located above the offices. Pre-engineered construction was used for the maintenance garage of the building. In certain situations, pre-engineered solutions can provide a quick turn around for setting a schedule, finishing construction, and is a low-maintenance solution. Using pre-engineered construction does not necessarily mean picking a template, but rather using flexible systems that can be customized for each project. All materials for this project were fabricated in south-central Pennsylvania.
