New Educational Childcare Facility Opens

The Kiddie Academy at Susquehanna Union Green in Harrisburg, PA was completed in Summer 2023. The development team noted “Mowery delivered on every aspect of the project and made this the best to-market experience in over 100 locations.”

The 10,000 SF project is located within the new Susquehanna Union Green neighborhood – a mixed use community that includes residential options, shopping, and dining. Mowery partnered with the talented team at SGS Architects, Penn Fire Protection, R.A. Walton and Company, and Hurst Electric to design and construct this project.

The building consists of concrete and CMU footing and foundation, slab on grade floor, wood framed walls and trusses with LP Smart siding and EPDM roofing. Interior finishes include painted walls with FRP and specialty wall protective coverings, LVT, VCT and Sheet Vinyl Flooring and Acoustical Tile ceilings throughout.
