In 1997, Members 1st Federal Credit Union built their first headquarters in Mechanicsburg, PA. After nearly 25 years in that facility, they decided it was time to build a new headquarters to improve efficiencies and bring over 500 associates together under one roof. Mowery was selected as the trusted building partner and together with Greenfield Architects LTD. and Alpha Consulting Engineers of York County, we constructed a 185,000 SF corporate facility that will serve the client’s needs as well as their members’ needs far into the future.

The new headquarters features 73,000 SF of glass, which allows for natural light throughout the interior. Additionally, associates can enjoy a community room, which includes meeting and event spaces. Other amenities consist of a collaborative workspace, an associate café, a fitness center, and a walking trail around nearby Hampden Township Veteran’s Park.  

Using technology, meticulous quality control processes and procedures, and transparent communication, we were able to bring this project to life in just over 600 days with an expense-neutral result.
