Client

NorthPoint Antrim Commons-Lot 9

A tenant moving in mid-project and heavy rainfall were challenging obstacles for construction, but didn’t hinder this project being completed on time.

NP Antrim Lot 9 immediately began as a difficult job being started in the wettest year PA has ever recorded. Large warehouses, which are typically built as empty shells, have at a minimum, an extensive site work scope that can be challenging to work through with unfavorable conditions. Another challenge faced during this project included a tenant beginning their move-in halfway through construction.

The tenant’s space included the construction of a 42 foot high demising wall, four interior offices, a 50,000 SF mezzanine, a four-story product sorting and pick module, countless feet of conveyors, and a wireless robotic system that travels around 1/3 of the warehouse automatically sorting and picking product off the racking. The client also requested that we supply them with a 100% emergency generator back-up system; four twin 500kW diesel generators were installed to supply emergency power to the facility.

Mowery efficiently and expertly managed quality control throughout the project by utilizing Procore software to ensure clear communication throughout all parties. Overcoming all obstacles throughout this project, Mowery was able to complete the project on time and on budget in 14 months.
