Blough - Weis Library

A modern renovation to the first floor of the Blough-Weis Library gives students a new environment to thrive in.

Mowery worked closely with the architect and client to ensure Susquehanna University’s needs were being met for their students. Table seating, computer bars, lounge areas and mobile furniture were incorporated in the renovation design to make the space as versatile as possible. To compliment the open floor plan, designated quiet areas were also included for students and study groups to have the privacy they need. Natural lighting, better climate control, and secure storage were additional goals for the library’s renovation and were included in the final design.
