Heading into the project, the Mowery Design-Build team was familiar with working with Chevrolet. That being said, every project is unique and has its own challenges. This project included multiple phases and buildings which all needed to be integrated into a new state of the art dealership and service area, totaling 30,700 s.f. Along the way, Mowery’s team eliminated surprises for the client by pointing out potential hurdles, options for solving these challenges and making sure the project remained under budget. At the end of the day, the project breathed new life into their older buildings, added on space for future growth and gave Thornton Chevrolet a fantastic space which was built to the latest brand standards.
