While Chris Slick has only been a part of the Mowery team for less than a year, in that short period, his role as Structural Engineer has made him an integral part of the preconstruction team and process.

Chris has a rich educational background and is intensely involved in the industry. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in engineering (BSE) from Geneva College, Chris attended Villanova University to earn his Master’s in Civil Engineering (MSCE). Chris is also a licensed Professional Engineer and has been a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers for eight years.

Chris’ portfolio consists of an assortment of projects, large and small. His current projects include an unconventional pavilion design for a museum, warehouse fitout, design for a sign and gym support hardware for a healthcare organization and an industrial building’s mezzanine.

At Mowery, Chris enjoys the wide variety of projects he works on and also values the company culture.

“I really appreciate the team atmosphere,” shared Chris. “I think that it makes for a better work environment and for a better product delivered to our clients. Mowery has a strong commitment to doing the right thing, resulting in projects well-done.”

Married with one son (and another on the way), Chris values spending time with his family. When he has free time, Chris can be found running, playing guitar, hunting, or helping out at his local church.

Quick fact: Chris’ dream vacation would be to go to Australia!
