Elizabeth Lee joined the Mowery team in 2018 with three years of construction industry experience under her belt. In her role as project accountant, Elizabeth’s responsibilities include processing payables, setting up and maintaining job costs, and ensuring all financial aspects of the project comply with contract terms and policies.
Elizabeth believes Mowery’s foundations contribute to providing a successful client experience. “Mowery has strong company foundations we believe in and we execute with care,” says Elizabeth. “The importance we place on each foundation carries through from start to finish on each project. This ensures our clients have an incredible experience working with both our field and office employees.”
With the client experience in mind, what excites her about working at Mowery is being part of a team that does excellent work. She also references the importance of building community, “not only with new structure but also giving back and continuing to make efforts to improve the area we live in.”
Being involved in her town has always been a priority for Elizabeth. Her passion for giving back started at a young age with her involvement with the Volunteers in Mission organization. Along with her family, she participated in many different projects to improve the community. Prior to working in construction, Elizabeth studied vocal performance. Using her talent and skill, she worked for a non-profit music organization in San Francisco that served the city by making music education available to everyone – regardless of background or income level.
