Mowery, an industry-leading construction company, is pleased to announce that five of its employees have achieved designation as certified constructors from The American Society for Health Care Engineering, part of the American Hospital Association.
The five employees are: Matt Bachert, assistant project manager, Tanner Bogaczyk, assistant project manager, Dakota Kistler, project engineer, Billy Sanders, project engineer and David Whitesel, project superintendent. These employees are key staff in Mowery’s healthcare industry projects.
“At Mowery, we prioritize equipping our staff with exactly what they need to do the job right the first time, which is part of our ‘always do the right thing’ core value,” said David Cross, president and owner. “Working to build or renovate a healthcare facility requires specific safety and construction expertise, and we continue to bolster our expertise in this important industry.”
The Certified Healthcare Constructor designation requires knowledge of and experience in healthcare industry fundamentals, the planning, design and construction process, healthcare facility safety and financial stewardship. To prepare for the certification exam, these five heightened their grasp of regulations in the healthcare industry, guidelines for the built environment, special systems, diagnostic and treatment equipment, healthcare internal communications, sustainability and quality assurance.
“This designation not only advances the careers of our valuable employees, but also demonstrates the Mowery core values of ‘building it as if it’s our own’ and ‘safety is not optional,’” Cross said. “I’m proud to congratulate this team for their hard work!”
