Mowery Chief Operating Officer, Seth Hughes, participated in an industrial warehousing roundtable discussion hosted by The Central Penn Business Journal. Also included in the discussion were Charlie Courtney of McNees Wallace and Nurick, and Jim Snyder of Snyder Secary & Associates.

Topics of the discussion included challenges in the warehouse landscape, vertical building, the limited industry workforce, automation solutions, and last mile warehouses.

Industrial warehouse construction continues to grow each year, with no end in sight. “Somewhere around the 25-percent range of our sales are e-commerce, and we’re struggling to keep up with that,” shared Hughes, “Imagine when this wave comes and now we’re approaching 50 or 60 percent of purchases are all online. I don’t see it ending any time soon.”
