Mowery Announces New President

Regional, industry-leading construction company appoints Seth Hughes to President.

MECHANICSBURG, PA. – Mowery, an industry-leading construction company based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania is pleased to announce the promotion of Seth Hughes to president. Owner David Cross will assume the role of CEO.

“From my first day at Mowery, the overall continuity strategy of the company has been a top priority to me,” stated David Cross. “It’s with much gratitude that I am able to advance to a higher leadership role to concentrate fully on the strategy and vision of the company to ensure Mowery’s long-term success. Putting the right people in the right places has also been an essential part of this process and I’m pleased to elevate Seth Hughes to the role of president.”

Seth Hughes began his career with Mowery in 2016 in preconstruction services with an emphasis in the industrial market as the director of the Logistics Group and was most recently promoted to chief operating officer in 2020. Seth brings a unique and practical perspective to the role of president, having served in the construction industry since the age of 15 in nearly every role from laborer to leadership.

Seth looks forward to applying his well-rounded experience to the role of president at Mowery, “I am blessed to be in this position and understand that the bar is very high. As only the fifth person to ever hold the role of president at Mowery, I am filling the shoes of some industry legends.
