Regional, industry-leading construction company hires six new employees for various full-time positions at Mechanicsburg, PA headquarters.

MECHANICSBURG, PA. – Mowery, an industry-leading construction company based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, is proud to announce the addition of six new team members including Cody Hair, Clay Howe, Travis Jumper, Michael Kirk, Kyle Musika, and Matthew Byers.

Cody Hair joins the Mowery team in his role as senior estimator. Hair has spent the last 15 years in the construction industry, nine of which were focused on estimating. In his new role, Hair will be responsible for developing project estimates based on scope, materials, laborers, and more. He will also manage negotiations and change orders regarding project pricing.

Clay Howe was hired to fulfill the role of project superintendent. Howe has 18 years’ experience in the construction industry serving government entities. In his latest role, Howe served as superintendent where he managed a 200,000 SF warehouse renovation project. At Mowery, Howe will manage the field teams and oversee project timelines and budgets as well as lead and motivate an on-site workforce including subcontractors, coordinate laborers, and materials.

Mowery welcomes Travis Jumper to the team in his role as carpenter. Jumper is currently studying remodeling at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. In his role, Jumper will be responsible for completing rough framing, concrete framework, trim work, installation of doors and hardware, and more.

Michael Kirk joins the Mowery team in his role as assistant superintendent. With over 13 years’ experience in construction and development, specifically on large sports and entertainment complexes, Kirk will be responsible for working closely with project superintendents to manage schedules, budgets, hire subcontractors, lead workers, and provide a remarkable customer experience.

Kyle Musika was hired to fulfill the role of assistant project superintendent. For the past five years’, Musika has owned and operated KBM Contracting LLC where he managed residential repairs, remodels, and general construction projects. As assistant project superintendent at Mowery, Musika will be responsible for managing the field teams, overseeing project timelines and budgets, as well as leading and motivating an on-site workforce including subcontractors, coordinate laborers, and materials.

Lastly, Mowery welcomes Matthew Byers to the team in his role as architectural design intern. Byers has over 20 years’ experience in digital, print, and graphic design. He is currently pursuing an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree at Harrisburg Area Community College and is expected to graduate this fall. In his role, Byers will support the director of design in developing detailed drawings, generating informative 3D models and compelling renderings, and working with clients to present and explain final designs.
