Regional, industry-leading construction company hires Michael Sola to oversee small-scale construction projects and acquire new business.
MECHANICSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA – Mowery, an industry-leading construction company based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, is pleased to announce the addition of Central Pennsylvania native, Michael Sola to the team as director of Special Projects Group (SPG).
In this position, Sola will be responsible for managing all operations within the Special Projects Group. He will lead business development efforts, including acquiring new work from prospective and existing clients. Sola will oversee and delegate tasks to approximately ten team members including superintendents, project managers, and administrative staff. As director of SPG, he will be responsible for helping these individuals grow in their careers.
“Michael has several years of experience working in the construction industry in leadership positions. Most recently, he served as director of preconstruction and senior project manager,” said Seth Hughes, owner and president at Mowery. “I am confident he is the right fit for our Special Projects Group and will continue to bring remarkable projects to life all while helping expand the division,” added Hughes.
Mowery’s Special Projects Group focuses on smaller construction projects that do not require extensive design or oversight. The company brings the same level of high standards, quality, and experience to small projects as they do large, multi-million-dollar builds. The Special Projects Group can self-perform work in-house saving clients time and money other smaller companies may not be able to provide.
Sola holds a degree in Architectural Engineering from Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC). He is a member of the American Society of Professional Estimators Baltimore Chapter and Leadership York.
“We’re proud to have Michael join the Mowery team and look forward to how his diverse background in the industry will enhance our small projects and the client experience,” said Hughes.
