Regional, industry-leading construction company hires Zaafar Ahmad to help plan and design building blueprints.
MECHANICSBURG, PA. – Mowery, an industry-leading construction company based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania is pleased to announce the addition of Central Pennsylvania native, Zaafar Ahmad to the team as architectural designer.
“Zaafar’s industry experience with architecture software such as AutoCAD, 3DS Max, Revit, and Photoshop, as well as his ability to listen to client’s wants and needs and bring their visions to life through design, make him the right fit for this position,” said Seth Hughes, president of Mowery.
Zaafar Ahmad is a 2010 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School. He attended Morgan State University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architecture and environmental design. Prior to joining the Mowery team, Ahmad held the positions of architectural designer/drafter and BIM drafter for construction and manufacturing firms throughout the Midstate.
At Mowery, in his role as architectural designer, Ahmad will be responsible for meeting with clients to understand their project wants and needs; gathering the necessary information to calculate design layouts; using architecture software and manual drawing techniques to produce plans and blueprints; ensuring designs are compliant with industry standards and regulations; and collaborating with our design team to bring high-quality projects to life.
