Regional, industry-leading construction company expands team and increases focus on environmental-friendly practices

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – Mowery, an industry-leading construction company based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania is pleased to announce the addition of Nicholas Laeder to the team as director of sustainability (MEP services & quality control).
“With over 17 years’ experience in project management and engineering, including multimillion-dollar government and large private sector projects, Nick’s extensive background allows him to ensure project quality, sustainability, exactness, safety, compliance, and on-time performance, which are all imperative to providing a remarkable construction experience” said David Cross, owner and president of Mowery.
Nicholas Laeder joins the preconstruction team as director of sustainability (MEP services & quality control). In his role, Laeder will be responsible for improving Mowery’s sustainability, quality and collaboration. With his main focus on sustainability, Laeder will lead internal projects focused on ensuring Mowery continually reduces their impact on the environment and strengthens the communities in which they serve. Assisting with quality control, he will establish and ensure best in class quality control policies and procedures on every Mowery project. Lastly, with responsibilities in MEP services, Laeder will ensure Mowery’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing teams are working seamlessly and efficiently on projects.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University, Laeder immediately began working in the construction industry as a field engineer managing projects in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and Berlin, Germany. In his latest role, he served as global construction manager, where he managed up to 20 concurrent projects at all stages of completion.
