Regional, industry-leading construction company hires three new employees for various full-time positions at Mechanicsburg, PA headquarters.

MECHANICSBURG, PA. – Mowery, an industry-leading construction company based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, is proud to announce the addition of three new team members including Joseph Barnhart, Zack Heller, and Shawn Mattern.
Joseph Barnhart joins the Mowery team in his role as project superintendent. In his new role, Barnhart will be responsible for scheduling, overseeing, and motivating an on-site workforce; coordinating subcontractors and material suppliers; and managing cost control and projections. With over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry and multiple safety certifications, Barnhart has the demonstrated knowledge and skillsets to provide a safe, remarkable construction experience for our team and clients.
Mowery also welcomes Zack Heller and Shawn Mattern to the team in their roles as carpenters. In this position, both individuals will be responsible for completing rough framing, concrete framework, trim work, installation of doors and hardware, and more.
Zack Heller was recently accepted into ABC Keystone’s Apprenticeship Program. This four-year program will provide Heller with the opportunity to learn valuable skills in the construction industry, gain a competitive career advantage, and have the ability to advance his career post-graduation.
Shawn Mattern brings over 16 years’ experience in the construction industry to the Mowery team. From building residential decks and patios to working on large, commercial projects, Mattern has the hands-on experience to support both Mowery’s multi-million square feet projects as well as our smaller, special projects.
